RECOMMENDED: Connect to the eduroam wireless network by running the SecureW2 app. This will automatically add the settings and certificate for your connection. Or use automatic setup: Under the Wi-Fi settings, tap from Off to On. This will bring up a list of wireless networks currently available. Tap eduroam to go to the configuration screen.
Once you have logged in you will be connected automatically to the network when you are within range. UMD students, faculty, and staff should use eduroam to connect to UMD's Wi-Fi service with cellphones and laptops.
The eduroam network allows users from participating institutions to connect to WiFi using credentials from their own home institution.
